The Lake District, a national park in northwest England, its very popular . It’s known for its glacial ribbon lakes, mountains and historic literary associations. The lake District was split between Cumberland , Westmorland and Lancashire but the Lake District is now all in Cumbria. It also contains the deepest and longest bodies of water in England, Wastwater and Windermere. The lake district is the biggest national park in England and is known for its landscape. It has the most people living in it out of all national parks in England. The Lake District brings in money by activities in the Park. Some of the activites in the park are water sports , Brockhole visitor centre , a 21 Centuary Landscape art class , Navigation skills and more. The Lake District is also known for its mountains:
